When the sun sinks beneath the horizon, it takes with it all the light it has given that day. Plants are forced to stop growing, animals are obliged to go to sleep to rest for the following day. What most do not know though, is that hills, and mountains, never rest. Forever are they growing, forever are they eroding. There is no moment to rest for the land.

Any critique is more than welcome, these light effects are all new to me. I'm trying to replicate a sunset.

:D thank you kindly! textures are a lot easier to pick if you make them yourself, huh :P

wow you made them yourself? that's pretty awesome! What program did you use to make this?

It might sound a bit pathetic but I just use terragen nowadays. I simply don't have the time to draw every single polygon in Bryce or 3ds Max. It's a freeware program you can get at several websites if you wish to give it a shot. A child could use it, it's so easy.

haha I downloaded terragen one time and couldn't figure it out so I uninstalled it. So go you for figuring it out! You did a really great job on it! :)

Really :? I thought terragen was a pretty straight forward program anyone could use! Although, did you try out terragen 1 or the new version 2? Because I must admit the new version 2 is slightly more difficult than its previous version, although it can do a tenfold more
